CRAVE·CONTENT POLICY

Content Policy

Crave is a field guide written by diners who actually ate the food. Honest, specific, first-hand. This policy describes what belongs here and what does not.

01What's allowed

02What's not allowed

If you're not sure Ask yourself: "If I were a colleague reading this in a hotel room at 11pm, would it help me decide what to order?" If the answer is no, it probably doesn't belong here.

03How to report

You have two routes to flag content that violates this policy:

We review every report within 24 hours.

04Enforcement

We apply a graduated response. Severe violations (illegal content, threats, sexual content involving minors) skip directly to suspension and, when required, referral to authorities.

01 · WARNING
In-app warning and content correction
For minor or first-time violations: we contact you and ask for the content to be edited or removed.
02 · REMOVAL
Content removal
We remove the offending dish, photo, or review and notify you with the reason. Underlying ELO comparisons may be retained as an immutable audit log but the surfaced content is taken down.
03 · SUSPENSION
Account suspension or termination
For repeated, severe, or willful violations: we suspend or terminate the account. Sign in with Apple credentials are not portable, so this is a final remedy.

05Appeals

If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, reply to the enforcement email or write to moderation@crave.app within 30 days. Include the dish ID or account ID, the action taken, and why you believe it was incorrect. We review every appeal within 5 business days and respond in writing.

06Changes

We may update this Content Policy as new patterns of abuse appear or as the product expands. Material changes will be announced through the app or by other reasonable means. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
